Mini Flashlight + Laser Pointer + Bank Note Checker + Stylus + Ball-point Pen!!!

If you do a lot of writing, attend meeting, have a PDA (or Nintendo DS), or are just a gadget freak, then you’ll love this pen. It has a mini-led light on a flexible shaft so you can see while you are writing or help you see behind that PC tower under the desk. The laser pointer is great for pointing out the statistical data on pie charts in those, oh so exciting, staff meetings, or you can use it to drive your cat insane. The stylus and pen will be highly useful for writing notes or playing Pokemon Diamond & Pearl on your Nintendo DS Lite. Now it also comes with a UV (black-light) LED that is useful to verify bank notes mainly in the UK and rest of Europe, but in the U.S., we’d break out the old ’80s neon clothes, and see how it looked in the dark. Sorry, having flashbacks to high school. All this James bond goodness is only running $11 at gadget4all.com.

Make pimples disappear within 24 hours — using the first FDA-cleared at-home medical device for treatment of acne. $185 @ Sharper Image
Zeno® is a hand-held, portable electronic medical device that is clinically proven to make pimples disappear fast. It’s the most scientifically advanced and effective device available without a prescription for treating mild to moderate inflammatory acne pimples. Two to three 2 1/2 minute treatments spread over 24 hours are sufficient for most pimples. Often, only one treatment is needed. Most other medications can take days or even weeks to work.
Pimples occur when excess skin oil and flaking skin plug the opening of a hair follicle and create the ideal environment for acne bacteria to grow. Precisely controlled heat applied for a specific period of time causes the bacteria to self-destruct. When the bacteria die, the pimple goes away.
So how does the Zeno device work? Its proprietary technology triggers a heat-shock response in microorganisms that cause skin lesions, bringing about the self-destruction of those bacteria and allowing the skin to return to a healthy, normal state. In the case of acne, the acnes bacterium is the root cause of 90% of all acne pimples.
The Zeno device is designed to safely heat an acne lesion to a preset temperature range known to generate a heat-shock response. Heat-shock response is a reaction bacteria have to heat whereby they transcript a number of genes and activate heat-shock proteins. These heat-shock proteins participate in the bacteria’s death by causing the bacteria to self-destruct.
The Zeno device features a tip that heats to a preset temperature. The biocompatible tip is designed for direct contact with a blemish on the skin. Once in contact with a blemish, the tip will transfer heat into the follicle. An internal PID controller chip continually modulates the temperature to a fixed range even under different skin and circulation conditions by adjusting the flow of energy to match precisely the heat absorption of the individual user. The device’s microprocessor adapts not only to your individual skin type but also to the heat-absorption characteristics of the location of the pimple. Your Zeno unit adapts to you! An integral digital timer controls the treatment time. The level of heat does not cause skin damage. Measures 4.5″ x 0.5″ x 1.5.” Runs on a built-in rechargeable battery. Includes storage case with mirror. One-year warranty. Internet and select stores only.

Last Friday I told you about the inkjet tattoos, a great alternative to real tattoos. Well I discovered another way to make temporary tattoos from Popgadget using henna, a hair dye, in a pen form. Henna Penna pens are available in a range of colors including emerald and traditional brown and black, and can be used with stencils or freehand. The pens are available for $25.75 per pen (from Nonstop Bazaar) so they are not exactly dirt cheap, but they are all-natural and not tested on animals, so you or your kids can play without fear, and they are far less expensive (and not permanent) as a real tattoo. Be warned, these are a dye, not stickers so they will actually color the skin and will take time to fade and go away. they are NOT able to be washed off so I would not recommend using them on places like your face.
