VISA will be testing a new high tech card in Britain and it will be issued by MBNA. It has a 12 digit input keypad on the back as well as an LCD. This will help with online purchase security by requiring the user to input their PIN into the card to get a security code to validate the online purchase. Sounds less convenient but more secure, and less of a pain in the butt in the long run compared to sorting out identity theft.
