In my quest for a desk that is good for computing and podcasting, I found nothing in the consumer sector that was cost effective for what I wanted and needed, so I decided to build my own.

Yeah, easier said than done, right?

Well there are quite a few things that I can do to get that perfect set-up (for me) that will help give me a space that is quiet, as far as computer noise is concerned, plenty of storage, and do it cost effectivly. Well hopefully. It's not your typical computer desk, as a matter of fact, there's nothing about it that is a computer desk. It is actually a kitchen cabinet system from Ikea that I will assemble that will become my computer workstation / podcasing center.

I will be placing the pictures from my project on the blog and describing what is going on. I hope to be able to put the items that I used and the ideas behind it all on this blog as well.
